After the problems we had at last years Euro rally in Lincoln (two broken ankles, a broken knee and a Lambretta that needed life support) I was tentatively looking forward to this years Jamboree in Gijon, Spain.
Great London Rideout

This event (brainchild of super-Mod ‘Wolfy’ of Mad Mods & Englishmen SC) is one of the biggest mass rideouts in the SE. It starts from Regents Park, NW London, then heads east via the 1960s fashion mecca of Carnaby Street and through East London before joining the A127 arterial road towards Southend-on-Sea.
First Scooter Shindig!

The Shropshire Lads ’n’ Lasses SC have been (on and off) around since 1988, but we’d never got around to putting on our own do.
Norwich egg run

What a great day out this was – a top turnout. As I made my way to the Red Lion, I wondered if the egg run would be as good (if not better) than last year. The weather was dull, but dry and I wasn’t to be disappointed.
Silhouettes season ends

Friday 20 November was the Scunthorpe Silhouettes end of season do at the Robert Holme Hall, Hospital Club, Church Lane, Scunthorpe.
Mods & Rockers, Australian style

The people of Melbourne were scratching their heads in disbelief on the morning of Sunday 26 October 2009, as they observed an amazing congregation of 220 motorcycles and scooters riding together on the inaugural Melbourne Mods v Rockers day run. Was that really scooters and motorcycles riding together? Was that really a half a kilometre of two-wheelers riding on Warrigal Road?
